Bancorp final dividend
- Bancorp pays a final year-end dividend of NZD2.2 cents per share
- Total year 2012/2013 dividend payment of NZD 4.5 cents per share
- Shareholder-friendly dividend policy will be also pursued in future
Auckland, New Zealand, 5 September 2013 - the directors of private and
investment banking group, Bancorp Wealth Management New Zealand Limited
(Bancorp), have announced a final year-end dividend 2012/2013 of NZD2.2
cents per share.
Bancorp Managing Director, Craig Brownie, stated today that the group had
produced a pleasing result for the year ending 30 June 2013. 'We are a well
established and growing financial organization with a diversified income
base which is proving its strong profitability and capacity to grow'.
The year has seen a number of significant developments including moving
towards a Listing on the Frankfurt Entry Standard Board; it will be the
first New Zealand Company to be listed on Frankfurt.
Mr. Brownie said 'Bancorp remains well-positioned with a solid business
model, excellent profitability and good operating cash flows. The coming
financial year should see profitability continue to grow across all
business units.'
A final dividend of NZD2.2 cents per share will be paid on Friday 6
September 2013 to all shareholders on the register as at 5pm on Monday 2
September 2013. This, combined with the interim dividend of NZD2.3 cents
per share, provides a total gross return of 4.5 cents per share for the
financial year ended 30 June 2013. Bancorp intends to continue its
shareholder-friendly dividend policy.
