ProMinent at drinktec 2013 - Safe and effective chlorine dioxide generation
(PresseBox) - ProMinent is presenting its new chlorine dioxide system Bello Zon® CDLb at drinktec 2013, in hall A3, stand 314. The innovative system concept ensures minimum use of chemicals and high stability in the generation and metering of chlorine dioxide solutions.
The result is an intrinsically safe process method, including the sealed transport of gas, which guarantees outstanding operational safety. The ProMaqua® chlorine dioxide system Bello Zon® CDLb uses the chlorite/acid process. A chlorine-free chlorine dioxide is generated from a sodium chlorite solution using hydrochloric acid in a batch process. The innovative reactor design achieves an outstanding efficiency of well over 90 percent, guaranteeing economical, environmentally friendly operation.
