adesso AG opens new subsidiary in Turkey
Another step taken as part of the internationalisation strategy
adesso AG has opened an additional international location in Istanbul,
taking another step forward as part of the strategy to internationalise its
service portfolio. In addition to adesso's national subsidiaries in Austria
and Switzerland, adesso Turkey Bilgi Teknolojileri Ltd.?ti. was
established on 18 June 2013 in Istanbul and has since commenced business
operations. Led by a local manager with years of international experience,
adesso plans to gradually offer its entire service portfolio in Turkey.
Initial focus will be placed on solutions and services for content
management and mobile business.
Entering the Turkish market is in line with adesso's strategy to facilitate
lasting organic growth by making adesso's products and services more
international. The decision to establish a new location in Turkey was due
mainly to the region's dynamic economic momentum. The country has
experienced above-average economic growth for years, not at least because
of its high population growth and because it has one of the youngest
populations on average in Europe. There has been a rapid increase in the
introduction of modern software systems into Turkish companies. adesso
therefore sees great market potential within Turkey for optimising core
business processes through the targeted use of modern IT solutions. A high
demand for the development of mobile applications is expected in the two
main growth markets: the financial sector and the telecommunications
industry.
adesso's personnel in Istanbul currently consists of four employees, whose
expertise covers all aspects of software development management. The branch
is led by a Turkish managing director fluent in Turkish and German and
English. He is responsible for launching adesso's services and solutions in
Turkey and the continued expansion of the Istanbul site. He has proven his
IT expertise in previous professional engagements as senior project manager
at Capgemini and project manager at Logica Deutschland. In addition, he has
a good knowledge of the Turkish market.
Apart from the new branch office in Turkey, adesso already has over 1,100
employees at locations in ten cities across Germany, Austria and
Switzerland.
