Transmode announces winners of its 2013 global partner awards

Stockholm, Sweden - 11(th) September 2013 - Transmode, a global supplier of
packet-optical networking solutions, today announced the winners of its annual
global partners awards. The awards recognised the partner of the year and
numerous strategic business achievements.
The awards were presented at the Transmode Global Partner Conference held in
Stockholm, Sweden. The first award of Partner of the Year was awarded to the
partner that generated the most business by revenue for Transmode in 2012. The
three Business Achievement awards were to recognise important and strategic new
customer wins or breakthroughs in 2012.
Partner of the Year Award 2013: NEC
NEC is a leading global communication and IT solution provider and this
particular country team has generated the most new Transmode business by value.
NEC has adopted Transmode's innovative packet optical technology into its
comprehensive solutions portfolio and has sold Transmode's optical products to
customers in high growth markets around the world. NEC achieves significant
Transmode revenues globally and for these awards each NEC country team was
considered individually to enable fair competition against Transmode's other
partners.
Business Achievement awards 2013: NEC Neva (Russia), Indra (Spain) and Trigon
(Switzerland)
Each company made a significant strategic business expansion in its own
geographic area and has proven that it can market, sell and support Transmode's
products. Each winner achieved important customer wins or breakthroughs that
were of strategic importance to the partner and Transmode
All winners were presented with trophies by Mark Burton Transmode's Vice
President Europe and Magnus Grenfeldt Transmode's Vice President Nordics, during
the conference. Resellers were also given updates on Transmode's portfolio of
solutions that address the challenges network operators face in areas such as
network management, fronthaul networks and new technological developments in
optical access networks.
