ROK Stars PLC, the consumer and environmental products development company
founded by US Billionaire John Paul DeJoria and UK entrepreneur Jonathan
Kendrick, has announced that Rupert Clevely has accepted the role of
Strategic Consultant with the company.
Originally the worldwide marketing director for Veuve Cliquot Champagne,
Rupert and his wife Jo founded their first Geronimo Inns gastro pub, the
Chelsea Ram, in 1995 and grew the business to 30 upscale gastro-pubs across
London, Heathrow and Surrey before selling the business to Young's Brewery
in December 2010 for£60 million.
Rupert was appointed to the board of Young's upon the acquisition of
Geronimo Inns and has subsequently become a non-executive director for
Young's.
