Banks Island Gold Ltd. Announces Results of AGM

(firmenpresse) - VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwired) -- 09/12/13 -- Banks Island Gold Ltd. (the "Company") (TSX VENTURE: BOZ) announces the results of the Company's Annual General meeting of Shareholders ("Meeting") held in Vancouver, British Columbia on September 9, 2012. The shareholders approved all motions put forth at the Meeting including the re-appointment of Wolrige Mahon LLP, Chartered Accountants, as the Company's independent auditors and the confirmation of the Company's Stock Option Plan. As well, the shareholders approved the Company's Advance Notice Policy and the use of the Notice and Access rules of the Canadian Securities Administrators and re-elected Benjamin Mossman, Saurabh Handa, Wolf Nickel, Fred Sveinson, and Jason Nickel to the Company's Board of Directors.
