Encrypted Recordings Keeps Your Voice Data Safe From Unwanted Ears

Many businesses need to record their calls to either comply with various regulations or for best business practices. However, these compliance regulations and industry related business practices also need these recordings to be encrypted and secured.
Versadial solves these requirements by providing 256 bit encryption on all audio recordings performed by their call recording software.
Versadial’s call recording solution has two very important components, VSLogger and Adutante. VSLogger is the server that records all audio and can be configured to either keep all recordings on the server or automatically upload the recordings to Adutante.
Adutante is a recording management server that utilizes a browser based user interface and can access multiple VSLoggers from one centralized location. Each VSLogger server can encrypt their files locally, and when playback is requested via Adutante, the recording is un-encrypted and cached within the Adutante sever. For security, the recording is then removed after a set time from the cache and must be requested again to be listened to.
Alternatively, when VSLogger is configured to automatically upload all recordings after the call has ended, the audio files can be encrypted on the centralized Adutante server. When playback is needed, the recording is un-encrypted and played back within the Adutante user interface.
Taking security to the next level, Versadial has also incorporated vault protection. Vault protection adds an additional layer of security that prevents anyone from accessing the recordings. These recording are stored away and a single access key is provided to the administrator. Even if vaulted recordings are accessed via the Adutante user interface, the recordings cannot be played back until the vault has been opened. This is ideal for businesses that need to store recordings for a given period of time before they may be removed completely. By placing them in a secure Vault location, recordings remain safe and extremely difficult to gain access and listen to without authorization.
Adutante also runs on an SSL layer of protection to ensure all data is transferred to and from the recording servers and users on a secure connection.
Please note, Export Administration Regulations (EAR), limit the export of encryption technology to international countries. Versadial encryption is only available to US and Canada customers.
