Continued Traction for AXON Body Cameras

The Greensboro Police Department (NC), which deployed 125 AXON Flex cameras earlier in 2013, is expanding their body worn video program with an additional order for 160 AXON flex cameras, 10 ™ cameras and a 3-year EVIDENCE.com program. These orders were received in the third quarter and are expected to ship in the third quarter.
The , a non-profit formed in 2012 by local business and community leaders, raised funding to support the deployment of body worn cameras to protect the officers of the Greensboro Police Department. The Greensboro Police Department and the Foundation undertook an innovative fund raising campaign including prominent and a with local television and print media to garner public support for the campaign.
