Breaking Ground With Breakaway Music Festival: Your Field, Your Fest
(firmenpresse) - COLUMBUS, OH -- (Marketwired) -- 09/19/13 -- The inaugural Breakaway Music Festival accompanied a massive crowd enticing line-up of globally recognized artists such as , , , all while supporting the local music scene with the ALIVE! Local Stage designed specifically for Columbus-based acts such as Mojoflo, Forest & The Evergreens, and more. Garnering thousands of attendees from across the Midwest at Columbus Crew Stadium for the sole purpose of commemorating the togetherness that music brings, Breakaway bestowed beyond expectations of what a festival manifests.
"We were really pleased with how the local music scene blended with all the national artists we brought in to Columbus. It seemed like people were flowing all day between the stages," the Social Media Director for Breakaway Jordan Canada said.
Breakaway Music Festival, produced by and Columbus-based promotions company , not only featured three stages that hosted DJs, live bands, and performers throughout the day but provided the opportunity for its constituents to visit vendor/sponsor booths. Attendees were also welcomed to enjoy carnival rides stationed throughout the venue and watch college football in the Dreamseats Tailgate Zone.
"We're very proud of this event," Prime Social Group co-founder Adam Lynn said.
Breakaway Music Festival broke ground for Prime Social Group by being their biggest venture yet. Additionally, the festival was the first major contemporary music festival to be hosted in the city.
