R. STAHL camera systems to become part of one the Gulf region's largest gas
production projects
Waldenburg, 20 September 2013 - R. STAHL AG (ISIN: A1PHBB) has secured a major
contract for the delivery of camera systems through its Italian subsidiary. The
project, with a total value of ? 0.8 million, will be realized in the third
quarter of the current financial year.
The facility, which currently is under construction, serves to separate the
constituents ethane, propane and butane from the liquid natural gas feed. In
addition to proven expertise in explosion prevention, the wide range of
production processes carried out at the facility put additional demands on
safety and reliability. Under the terms of the agreement, R. STAHL will supply
113 camera systems for a total value of ? 0.8 million to a European plant
manufacturer. The customer - specialised in the construction and integration of
systems for the oil and gas industry - is relying on the proven quality of R.
STAHL products. The deal includes swivel-mounted cameras with 16x zoom and a
specially designed wash and wipe system, as well as 113 connection boards that
monitor the camera's nitrogen filling via an inbuilt safety circuit. The high-
end camera systems are designed to monitor the complex in order to safeguard
people, machinery and the environment.
