The shadeplus function of the markilux pergola system offers sun, wind and heat protection.(firmenpresse) - The shade-friendly markilux pergola now provides a further advantage - an additional awning, which is fastened to the front profile of the solar protection unit and which can be lowered. It is called a shadeplus, and protects against low-lying sun, light wind and increases your privacy, which makes staying outside even more pleasurable. With the shadeplus, the modern pergola is transformed into a cosy, living room in the open air, in which the heat of the day remains a little longer to keep the cool evening air at bay - and all this in a stylish and smart design. Areas of up to six metres can be protected against light and sun up to a height of almost two and a half metres. The awning model is also available in a variant with a telescopic circular support post so that rainwater can drain off well. In this version, you can only utilise the shadeplus awning when the support post is not in the lowered position.
Free colour and fabric selection for awning covers
For conservatory and shadeplus awnings, a large selection of colourful awning covers from the latest generation of fabrics are available - from opaque to slightly transparent or heat-regulating. The additional shadeplus awning is available as an option, can be retrofitted and is operated using a stainless steel winding handle.
