Media Advisory: How Can Canada Reduce Wait Times for New Medicines? New Study Coming Wednesday, September 25

(firmenpresse) - CALGARY, ALBERTA -- (Marketwired) -- 09/24/13 -- The Fraser Institute will release a new study Wednesday, September 25 outlining how Canadians could gain faster access to new medicines that could help alleviate pain and suffering stemming from major illnesses.

Many new medicines that could help Canadians suffering from life-threatening diseases are often unavailable because they have yet to be approved by Health Canada. Meanwhile, these same medicines are often already widely available in the European Union or the United States.
