PIDX Board Hires Fadi Kanafani as CEO
(firmenpresse) - HOUSTON, TX -- (Marketwired) -- 09/25/13 -- PIDX International, the global Oil & Gas eBusiness standards body has hired Fadi Kanafani to lead the organization in its quest for growth and global adoption of its standards.
William Le Sage, Chairman of the Board of PIDX International (PIDX), announced that the PIDX Board of Directors hired Fadi O. Kanafani as President and Chief Executive Officer of PIDX effective August 28, 2013. Kanafani succeeds Mr. Christopher Carter who resigned last June. Kanafani will be responsible for leading and managing the PIDX operations, promoting adoption of PIDX standards, and driving its membership growth and continued development as a vital standards organization for the oil & gas industry.
Kanafani has over 25 years of professional experience in technology analysis and management to the energy and petroleum industry sectors. The experience extends from the entire value chain of natural gas distribution, petrochemicals, midstream engineering, and upstream production.
