for utilities and public transportation, announces that it has engaged with
Elefirst Science&Tech Co. Ltd., (Elefirst) and Nanjing Yuneng Instrument
Co. Ltd., (NYN), both of Nanjing, China, to lead an Energy Management
Syndicate for the sales, marketing, supply and installation of
next-generation meters and energy management systems and solutions in
Europe and Central Asia.
Elefirst is a leading provider of data system management services in the
energy sector in China and a Chinese public company listed on the Shenzhen
Stock Exchange ('300356'). NYN is a noted manufacturer of sophisticated
energy meters supplying utility companies in China and Asia. It has a
strong Research&Development culture and is a noted innovator of plastic
fibre optic solutions, alternative energy supply and LED power.
TERA has already opened the door for the Syndicate in Uzbekistan where it
is bidding for a significant multi-million dollar contract to supply meters
and management systems for the country's new energy supply infrastructure.
TERA has also signed a Heads of Terms with UPL, the only British service
provider of utility infrastructure, smart metering and energy services
offering a complete and fully integrated management solution in the UK. UPL
will add to TERA's, and thus the Syndicate's, reach in Europe and the UK.
