TERA Hyper Networks plc Bids for Advanced Electricity Metering in
Uzbekistan
London, November 12, 2013. TERA Hyper Networks plc (TERA), a group of
companies specialising in innovative metering and energy management systems
for utilities and public transportation, announces that it has submitted
its Bid on behalf of its Syndicate including Nanjing Yuneng Instrument Co.
Ltd., (NYN) and Elefirst Science&Tech Co. Ltd., (Elefirst) both of
Nanjing, China, for Uzbekistan's multi million dollar Advanced Electricity
Metering Project. The Metering Project is part of Uzbekistan's
multi-billion dollar infrastructure development program.
The Bid was submitted and confirmed by the relevant authorities of
Uzbekistan. TERA was successful in securing the Uzstandard certifications
for its meters prior to the submission.
This is the first of a number of similar utility metering projects TERA is
working on by invitation.
TERA is also pleased to announce that Professor Guo Jian Guo, one of
China's leading technology and design engineers, has joined TERA as their
Chief Engineer. Professor Guo is renowned in China as an innovator and
solutions provider for smart technologies. He was Technology Research
Director for Transcient Physics and Science at Nanjing University of
Science&Technology (NUST) for 20 years and became the University's Chief
Engineer for the State Internet of Things as well as its Chief Designer for
the development of Smart Utility Meter Terminals. The company will be
managing all the Intellectual Property Rights evolving from the corporate
design team.
