Veidekke ASA : Good housing quarter for Veidekke

Veidekke has sold 23 % more homes in Q3 2013 than in the same quarter of 2012.
"Although no new sales of projects have started during the quarter, Veidekke has
sold 235 homes totalling NOK 852 million. We are particularly pleased that sales
in Sweden have reached the same level as in Norway," says CEO of Veidekke, Arne
Giske.
Veidekke's property operations in Norway and Sweden sold a total of 235 homes in
Q3. The total sales value for the quarter was NOK 852 million, and Veidekke's
share was NOK 590 million. So far in 2013 Veidekke has sold homes for more than
NOK 3 billion.
Veidekke will start sales of several new projects in Q4. We will start the sale
of homes at Løren in Oslo in cooperation with OBOS. This will be one of
Veidekke's most important housing projects in the time ahead with more than 750
residential units. Other important projects with new stages going on sale are
Sjetnan Nedre in Trondheim and Sjø Panorama in Sandnes. In Sweden we will start
the sale of homes at Råbylund in Lund and Örby in Stockholm.
At the end of Q3 Veidekke had 1,814 homes in production, whereof Veidekke's
share is 1,372. The combined sales ratio for projects under construction is a
huge 79%.
