Woodbridge International Rolls Out Bogota, Colombia Office
(firmenpresse) - NEW HAVEN, CT -- (Marketwired) -- 10/03/13 -- Woodbridge International has expanded its global footprint again by launching its new Colombia office. The Bogotá office will serve middle-market mergers and acquisitions clients throughout Colombia and in adjacent countries, as well as those in Central America.
The firm recently launched its Tokyo office, which is already generating Japanese sellers who wish to have their company marketed to buyers worldwide.
Heading up the Colombia office is a seasoned team of Bogotá-based investment bankers. The three Senior M&A Advisors working from the new office are: Margarita Camargo de Londoño, Juan Fernando Posada and David Zarrate Charry. All three have expertise in advising middle market companies on mergers and acquisitions transactions and on strategic opportunities.
A longtime investment banker, Margarita has closed numerous transactions on behalf of Colombian clients and has significant experience in international fundraising. She holds a degree in Economics from Universidad Javeriana.
Juan has over two decades of experience in the financial sector in Colombia and abroad. He served as CEO of Banco Union Colombiano and as CFO of CAF, Banco de Desarrollo de América Latina. He has also been a professor at two major Colombian universities. Juan holds a degree in Economics from Universidad Javeriana and an M.Sc. from The London School of Economics.
David Zarrate Charry has 12 years of experience in public finance and investment banking. He is a former advisor of the Colombian Ministry of Finance. He was in charge of the financial control of several municipalities and advised on critical regional infrastructure projects. David graduated from Universidad Externado de Colombia in Finance and International Relations and holds a Master's degree from Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
