positive monthly results

Berlin, 08.10.2013. In August 2013, Berliner Synchron AG achieved a
positive result for the fifth consecutive month. According to the executive
board, the company is approaching breaking even for 2013 as a whole,
despite extraordinary items with a balance of -89,000 EUR in 2013. Board
member Marcus Dröscher says, 'We are extremely pleased with the positive
economic development and are making every effort to complete the last phase
of the turn-around. The company has not experienced five consecutive
positive monthly results for over 6 years. The improved scheduling of
dubbing actors and directors as well as the optimization of work processes
by the employees have contributed significantly to this positive result.'
With the purchase of new project management software for the internal
management of projects and a new optimism among employees, the board
continues to take steps towards achieving sustained profitability. The
company is also continuing to work on the introduction of a new production
control software with the aim of increasing the freedom for artists and
thus improve both the quality of dubbing and reduce costs.
