Lubrizol Announces Opening of New Innovation Centre in Southeast Asia New Laboratory Facility Boosts Innovation and Technical Capabilities in Asia

SINGAPORE, October 9, 2013 - The Lubrizol Corporation announces the opening of
its new Innovation Centre in Singapore, the latest addition to Lubrizol's
growing presence in Asia. The opening ceremony for the new laboratory facility
marks yet another milestone in support of Lubrizol Advanced Materials' robust
growth in the region.

The new Innovation Centre is home to application development and technical
service for the Personal Care, Home Care and Performance Coatings businesses in
Asia. Personal and Home Care technical support covers the areas of skin care,
hair care, bath and shower, as well as home care applications. The Performance
Coatings business will use the Innovation Center to build technology development
and predictive application testing capabilities in the region for a host of
application areas that include metal, wood, composites, masonry, paper, textiles
and packaging.
