- Marcus Brans, Senior Vice President Corporate Communication and Marketing at Schaeffler AG, leaves the company by mutual agreement
- Christoph Beumelburg, currently Vice President Investor Relations at Schaeffler AG, will take over as Senior Vice President Corporate Communication and Marketing in addition to his own responsibilities
Marcus Brans (44), Senior Vice President Corporate Communication and Marketing at Schaeffler AG, is leaving the company by mutual amicable agreement and with immediate effect.
Marcus Brans joined the Schaeffler Group in December 2009 and assumed responsibility for Corporate Communication and Marketing. During this period, he made a decisive contribution towards reorienting and professionalizing the Schaeffler Group's communication work, both nationally and internationally.
"We would like to thank Mr. Brans for the contributions he has made and for his strategic work in building up the marketing and communication sectors. We wish him the very best for the future", said Klaus Rosenfeld, CEO of Schaeffler AG.
Christoph Beumelburg (45) is assuming the position of Senior Vice President Corporate Communication and Marketing in addition to his existing responsibilities as Senior Vice President Investor Relations. He will report directly to Schaeffler AG CEO Klaus Rosenfeld in both of these functions.
