Frankfurt a. Main, 10 October 2013 - China BPIC Surveying Instruments AG
('BPIC AG', 'BPIC' or the 'Company'), one of the leading Chinese surveying
instruments manufacturers, today announced that it has successfully
launched the investors roadshow in Europe. BPIC also participated in the
19th INTERGEO, a leading conference trade fair for geodesy, geoinformation
and land management in Essen, Germany, to showcase its products to the
international customers for the first time, indicating BPIC's major step in
expanding its business in other parts of the world.
After releasing the result for the first half of 2013, BPIC has undertaken
an investor roadshow to introduce the Company to German and European
investors. Held for 7 business days from 23rd September to 1st October,
BPIC has had presentations and one-on-one meetings with investors,
comprising both institutional investors as well as high potential
individuals, in Paris (France) and Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Munich and
Stuttgart (Germany). Mr. Wei XIE, founder, Chairman and General Manager of
BPIC AG, comments on BPIC's roadshow: 'Our equity story conveyed to
investors is pretty simple. High growth, wide profit margin, huge market
potential and solid expansion plan ahead. In general, the feedback from the
investors is very positive.'
In the course of the roadshow in Europe, Mr. XIE also took the opportunity
to address the media in Germany to further promote the Company within its
listing region. Mr. XIE was also interviewed by Deutsches Anleger Fernsehen
('DAF'), a leading investors TV and online media group in Germany, in order
to discuss the business and development strategy of the Company. 'Exposure
to the media on a regular basis helps us to convey our latest Company
messages and business goals to the public in a very effective manner. We
hope this can narrow the communication gap between BPIC and the investors
in Europe,' Mr. XIE adds.
Following the success of the investor roadshow, BPIC has also participated
in the 19th INTERGEO held in Essen, Germany from 8th - 10th October. With
over half a million event website users and more than 16,000 visitors from
80 countries at the INTERGEO itself, it is one of the key platforms for
industry dialogue covering a wide variety of fields, ranging from
surveying, geoinformation, remote sensing and photogrammetry to
complementary solutions and technologies. This is the first time for BPIC
to join this exceptional event by presenting its latest products and
technology at its exhibition booth to all potential customers, co-operative
partners, media and competitors coming from all over the world. On top of
showcasing its best-selling products like DTS-200 Total Stations, DT-2 and
DT-2L Theodolites, the Company also introduced its upcoming LDM-70 Handheld
Laser Distance Meter which is expected to be launched in the European
consumers market by the end of this year. Mr. XIE comments about BPIC's
participation in the event, 'our goal in this world's most largest and most
important event in the geospatial industry is to promote BPIC as one of the
future leaders in surveying instruments, especially in the construction and
surveying sectors as well as in the consumer market. At the INTERGEO, we
have received a lot of enquiries regarding our products and our Company
from the visitors who are mainly surveying instruments distributors from
different countries in Europe, North and South America, Africa, Asia and
Australia. I think we are having a good start to internationalize our
Company's business by participating in this event. And furthermore I
believe, after the positive response from the roadshow and the INTERGEO,
our confidence is high and the prospect of the Company is even brighter
than it used to be.'

BPIC AG is principally engaged in designing, manufacturing and selling of
surveying instruments under its own 'BPIC' brand in China. BPIC sells 4
types of products with a total of 6 different models, namely, Electronic
Total Station, Electronic Theodolite (including 2 models), Laser Electronic
Theodolite and Construction Cross-Liner Laser (including 2 models) to
domestic and overseas construction and engineering companies through
distributers. BPIC also takes orders from other surveying instruments
manufacturers in China including the designing and manufacturing of whole
surveying instruments equipment and component systems, sub-contracting
components manufacturing to third parties on behalf of customers, selling
of software etc. in accordance with the specification and requirements from
