NADL - Contemplating issuing new unsecured bonds

Hamilton, Bermuda, October 17, 2013 - North Atlantic Drilling Ltd. is
contemplating issuing new senior unsecured bonds in the Norwegian bond market
with maturity in October 2018. The net proceeds from the Bond Issuance will be
used to repay existing indebtedness. DNB Markets, Danske Bank, Nordea Markets,
Pareto Securities, SEB and Swedbank First Securities are acting as Joint Lead
Managers for the issuance.
