(firmenpresse) - PARSIPPANY, NJ -- (Marketwired) -- 10/18/13 -- Ogilvy CommonHealth Worldwide (), the health behavior experts of Ogilvy & Mather (), wrapped up their American Heart Association (AHA) Heart Walk fundraising campaign on Sunday with a strong showing of support at the event, where the organization had a large team of participants and an activity-filled tent on-site.

Ogilvy CommonHealth Worldwide is a WPP company (NASDAQ: WPPGY) (). The organization houses and maintains individual Ogilvy CommonHealth and Ogilvy Healthworld brand identities within the marketplace.

Over the last month, Ogilvy CommonHealth Worldwide's employees from the Parsippany office worked tirelessly to raise awareness to fight heart disease and stroke through a grassroots fundraising campaign for the Morris County AHA Heart Walk. Through a series of charitable initiatives in the office including; a weekly-traveling "Healthy Heart Snack Cart" where heart-healthy treats where available for purchase, a "Have a Heart" Wall, where AHA cutout hearts were sold and dispalyed with special personal dedications, a yoga session hosted by the organization's CEO, Matt Giegerich and his wife, Colleen, a raffle that offered prizes including a 50" LED flat screen TV, a night out in New York City with transportation, dinner and tickets to a Broadway show, a Keurig coffee machine and a gift card to the campus cafeteria, employees were presented with various ways to make a difference together as a team and support this wonderful cause. The group's collective efforts resulted in raising more than $11,000 to support the AHA.

The Morris County AHA Heart Walk was held on Sunday, October 13 at the Mack-Cali Business Campus in Parsippany, NJ and included a 5k run/walk, entertainment, games for all ages, food and beverages, and award ceremonies. To view pictures from the event visit:
