National Homebuilder Purchases 104 Home Sites in Goodyear Master-Planned Community
(firmenpresse) - SCOTTSDALE, AZ -- (Marketwired) -- 10/22/13 -- AV Homes, Inc. (NASDAQ: AVHI) has announced the acquisition of 104 home sites in the Goodyear, Arizona master-planned community of Canyon Trails.
Canyon Trails will offer single and two-story homes expected to range from 1,600 to 2,600 square feet with prices starting in the $160s. AV Homes anticipates that sales will begin in the second quarter of 2014 and plans to feature high quality living spaces geared toward first time, move-up buyers and young families.
Glen River at Canyon Trails features an adjacent elementary school, beautiful linear park spaces and convenient access to shopping, employment, and entertainment facilities including: Phoenix International Raceway, Coyotes' Jobing.com Arena, Arizona Cardinals' University of Phoenix Stadium, Estrella Mountain Regional Park and Goodyear Ballpark spring training facility. Both Interstate 10 and the Arizona Loop 303 freeways are highly accessible from Glen River.
AV Homes, Inc. was formed in 1970. It is best known for the development of Poinciana, an award-winning 47,000-acre master-planned community near Orlando, Florida. Today, the company is engaged in homebuilding, land development and other real estate operations in Florida and Arizona with its new Carolinas division already in development of its first community. Its principal operations are currently located at Solivita near Orlando, and CantaMia near Phoenix.
