(firmenpresse) - LOS ANGELES, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 10/22/13 -- California natives Jerred Christopher and Ethan Heathcoat are the team behind Native Behavior, an electronic dance music producer/ DJ duo that also has begun releasing a monthly podcast. The podcast, which is called Momentum, offers a mix of the best new underground electronic dance music and is released toward the end of each month. Christopher and Heathcoat actively seek out new producers and artists each month to showcase a variety of music styles and sounds in the 15-20 tracks that they select.

Every podcast is accompanied by a track listing of the artists, song titles, and whether the song is an original or a remix. The hosts prefer to keep talk to a minimum, opting instead to let the music speak for itself.

Christopher and Heathcoat are no strangers to the electronic music scene. Both came into the EDM world in the late 90s through the underground dance music scene of warehouse parties, desert gatherings and local clubs that offered a more rebellious sound. In the early 2000s Heathcoat and Christopher were involved in promoting and hosting their own underground parties and club nights with longtime friend producer Adam Scenx. Their events have showcased artists like Joey Youngman aka Wolfgang Gartner, Kaskade, Charles Feelgood, Bryan Jones, Jonn Hawley, Simply Jeff, Theoo and many others.

Their performance experience, extensive background in electronic music, and passion for the music are what makes their partnership and the podcast work.

In addition to producing the podcast, Christopher and Heathcoat perform live DJ sets regularly in the Los Angeles and Orange Country area as Native Behavior.

Their next performance is on Saturday, November 2 at Club Ten for BPM Entertainment in Newport Beach and on November 20 the duo will be debuting at La Cave in Costa Mesa for Modern Disco Ambassadors Promotions. MDA's past shows have featured artists like Pig&Dan, Manik, David Scuba, Silky and Maxxi Soundsystem.

Native Behavior will be back again at La Cave on December 4th to open up for HOMEWORK, the emerging artists from the Netherlands.
