ACI - The Financial Markets Association : Semi-annual autumn meeting Paris - October 2013

ACI-The Financial Markets Association is holding its semi-annual autumn meeting
in Paris, October 24&25, hosted by Banque de France.
The association regroups 64 countries, and their representatives will spend the
2 days working on:
* The changes of business models of banks following Basle 3 regulation,
* The level playing field in the banking industry,
* The impact on regulation on client business and the financing of the
economy,
* The improvement of contributions on benchmarks,
* The organization of the association
A specific focus will be also put on the Board of Education of the association,
as well as on the Committee for Professionalism.
The Chairman of the association (Eddie Tan, ACI-President Asia, Citibank) will
convene the Management Board on October 24. It includes Luciano Turba (ACI CFO,
UBI Banca); Brigid Taylor (ACI President Africa, Dreadnought Capital); Philippe
Jeanne (ACI President Europe, Natixis); Amr El Ganainy (ACI President Middle-
East, CIB)
Reports will be presented by the Board of Education (Claudia Segre, Credito
Emiliano), the Committee for Professionalism (David Woolcock, Eurobase), and the
Forex Committee (Stéphane Malrait, Societe Generale).
