Scout GPS Team Continues to Grow With Fortune 500 Tech Alumni

(NASDAQ: TNAV), the leader in personalized navigation, announced today that Lowell Goss has joined the company as the head of design. He will run design and user experience across Telenav's consumer products, which includes building on the success of Scout GPS on the and in the .
Before joining Telenav, Goss was the director of user experience at Amazon's Lab126, where he was responsible for design and prototyping. Prior to that, he was senior vice president of user experience and product development at IFILM, a division of Viacom's MTV Networks. IFILM was later rebranded to Spike.com, which includes programming from Comedy Central, GameTrailers and MTV. Before IFILM, Goss was the head of user experience for Yahoo!'s Media Group and Core Products Group, where he led the redesign of Yahoo.com, one of the web's most visited destinations.

Goss has a long track record of successful strategic design, including building and managing industry-leading and highly-respected design teams. At Telenav, he will leverage these past roles to evolve the Scout experience in the car and on Android, iPhone, and Windows Phone 8 devices.

Goss joins tech alumni and industry veterans from Aol, eBay, Microsoft, Netscape, TomTom, and Yahoo!. Telenav recently hired Steve Coast, founder of OpenStreetMap (OSM), to spearhead the company's crowd-sourced mapping initiatives for Scout GPS navigation services. Coast joined Telenav from Microsoft, where he was a principal architect for Bing and responsible for adding satellite imagery to OSM.
