Media Advisory/Photo Opportunity: Ontario Centres of Excellence 2013 Annual General Meeting and Innovation Showcase
(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 10/28/13 -- Seventeen companies demonstrating cutting-edge made-in-Ontario commercial innovations will be on display as part of Ontario Centres of Excellence (OCE) 2013 Innovation Showcase and Annual General Meeting.
These leading-edge products - anything from pharmacy-based hearing test stations to military robots to revolutionary software solutions - are the result of advanced industry and academic partnerships fostered by OCE on behalf of the Ontario Government. In addition to the showcase, OCE will share updates as it looks back on another tremendous year of work to advance Ontario`s Innovation Agenda as part of its AGM.
The event will include remarks from the Honourable Reza Moridi, Minister of Research and Innovation and year-end reports from OCE board chair Michael Nobrega and President and CEO, Dr. Tom Corr.
As well, the winner of the 2013 Mind to Market Award, which celebrates the most marketable OCE-supported business and research collaboration, and recipients of the Martin Walmsley Fellowship for Technological Entrepreneurship will be announced.
