ROK Stars co-founder, John Paul DeJoria, will make his debut on ABC TV's
'Shark Tank' on Friday 1st November
The critically-acclaimed business-themed TV show, produced by Sony Pictures
Television and aired by ABC across the United States, is as educational as
it is entertaining and continues to grow in popularity and appeal.
Last season the series became a leading ratings force in the United States,
regularly finishing as Friday's top program on the major networks among
adults aged between 18 and 49.
The entrepreneurs who enter the Shark Tank attempt to convince the Sharks
to provide the investment they need to turn their dreams into big dollar
realities.
The 'Sharks' include billionaire Mark Cuban, the owner and chairman of AXS
TV and owner of the 2011 NBA champions Dallas Mavericks, real estate mogul
Barbara Corcoran, the 'Queen of QVC' Lori Greiner, technology innovator
Robert Herjavec, fashion and branding expert Daymond John and venture
capitalist Kevin O'Leary.
Also making his debut alongside John Paul on Friday 1st November will be
Chairman and co-owner of the New York Giants, Steve Tisch.
John Paul's success exemplifies the American dream. Once homeless, he
overcame the odds to launch several global enterprises while living by his
mantra that 'Success Unshared is Failure.' With just $700 he co-founded
John Paul Mitchell Systems, converting the company into the worlds largest
privately held salon hair care business before founding Patrón, the world's
No. 1 ultra premium tequila as well as John Paul Pets.
A long-time activist for sustainable business practices, DeJoria, continues
to evolve and grow his businesses and to inspire others.
Commenting, John Paul said 'I'm excited to be a guest on Shark Tank where
I'll be giving the opportunity to entrepreneurs through my belief that
'America Works' to help achieve their dreams, because everybody is
somebody.'
To date, the Sharks have offered more than $23 million to bankroll a
creative array of innovative entrepreneurs.
ROK Stars PLC, listed on the Stuttgart Stock Exchange, was co-founded by
John Paul DeJoria and Jonathan Kendrick and has an expanding portfolio of
'game-changing' consumer and industrial technology products which includes
ABK Beer, OVAL Vodka, ROK Natural Energy, environmentally-friendly and
cost-effective ROK Water Technologies filtration system marketed to the oil
and gas industry as well as PURE ROK domestic polluted water purification
system - with several more products currently under review and evaluation.
