Digital First Media Announces Regional Circulation Changes

(firmenpresse) - NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwired) -- 10/31/13 -- today announced regional circulation leadership changes for 21st Century Media operations in Connecticut, New York and Pennsylvania.
The Company has named Phil Hudson the Director of Circulation for New York, Erick Buezo the Director of Circulation for Connecticut and Phil Metz the Manager of Circulation for Pennsylvania.
"These appointments provide the Connecticut, New York and Pennsylvania groups with experienced circulation leadership that will allow us to maximize our print audience opportunities as we continue to pursue the Company's digital strategy," said William J. Higginson, Executive Vice President of Operations.
As Director of Circulation for New York Mr. Hudson will be responsible circulation operations for (Kingston, NY), (Troy, NY), (Oneida, NY) and (Saratoga Springs, NY) and affiliated weekly newspapers. Mr. Hudson has been serving as Director of Circulation for Connecticut since 2011 and previously served in circulation leadership positions for The New Haven Register, the Times Herald-Record/Pocono Record and The Connecticut Post.
Mr. Buezo will be responsible for Connecticut circulation operations including (New Haven, CT), (Torrington, CT), (Middletown, CT), and affiliated weekly newspapers. Mr. Buezo joins the Company from GateHouse Media where he served as Operations Manager for GateHouse Media New England where he oversaw circulation operations for five daily newspapers and more than 20 weekly publications. Mr. Buezo has held various circulation positions with GateHouse since 2006 and previously worked in circulation for Gannett.
In Pennsylvania, Mr. Metz will report to Joe Forst, Director of Circulation for Pennsylvania, and will support circulation operations for (West Chester, PA), (Primos, PA), (Lansdale, PA), (Pottstown, PA), (Norristown, PA), and (Trenton, NJ). Mr. Metz previously served as Circulation Director for The Trentonian (Trenton, NJ).
The appointments are effective on Nov. 11.
