Media Advisory: Governor General to Launch National Campaign on Giving

(firmenpresse) - OTTAWA, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 10/31/13 -- His Excellency the Right Honourable David Johnston, Governor General of Canada, will launch a national campaign designed to inspire Canadians to help build a smarter and more caring nation. The event will take place at Rideau Hall on Monday, November 4, 2013, at 9:45 a.m. The master of ceremonies for this event will be George Stroumboulopoulos, host of CBC Television's "George Stroumboulopoulos Tonight," who will interview His Excellency and other speakers attending the launch.

Members of the media are asked to confirm their attendance in advance with the Rideau Hall Press Office.
