Brown College of Court Reporting Names Marita C. Carey Its New Director
Ms. Carey Has Been With Brown College Since 2006, Most Recently as Director of Admissions
(firmenpresse) - ATLANTA, GA -- (Marketwired) -- 10/31/13 -- Brown College of Court Reporting, a leader in the field of court reporting with a national reputation for excellence, is pleased to announce that Marita C. Carey has been named its new Director. Ms. Carey has been with Brown College since 2006 and was most recently its Director of Admissions. She takes over from Sue Schmith, who retired at the end of July.
"Marita is uniquely qualified to lead the school through its fifth decade of providing excellence and opportunity to our students," said Russell Freeman, President of Brown College of Court Reporting. "Marita has been with us for seven years, and her high standards and fresh ideas nicely complement the goals and values of Brown College."

Ms. Carey has worked in the proprietary education industry in Atlanta for 21 years, serving as Director of Admissions for institutions that include Herzing University, Portfolio Center, and American InterContinental University. She also worked in sales and marketing positions for the information technology training sector. Ms. Carey graduated from Wesleyan College in Macon, Ga. with a degree in psychology, and recently completed training with the APSCU (Association for Private Sector Colleges and Universities) Leadership Institute.
