(Thomson Reuters ONE) - (Oslo 1 July 2009) Marine Harvest today publishes the group's firstsustainability report.In 2008, one year after the merger of Pan Fish ASA, Fjord Seafood ASAand Marine Harvest N.V, Marine Harvest published the group's firstreport on corporate social responsibility (CSR). Despite limitedconsolidated data on group level, the report showed Marine Harvest'scommitment to corporate responsibility.This year Marine Harvest publishes a sustainability report, replacingthe CSR report, with more detailed data from our global operations.Transparency and an open dialogue are prerequisites for progress.Marine Harvest's performance needs to be discussed openly bothinternally and with stakeholders.Our sustainability report is still not covering all relevantstatistics. Data collected from global operations are in someinstances not fully comparable, and an improved quality control inrelation to data collection is needed before further details arepublished on a group level.
