Horgen, November 1, 2013 - The Board of Directors of Schweiter Technologies AG
will be proposing to the Annual General Meeting on May 7, 2014 that Ms Vanessa
Frey and Mr Jan Jenisch be elected to the Board of Directors. As announced, Beat
Frey will not be standing for a further term of office on grounds of age.
Furthermore, the Board of Directors has named Martin Klöti new Chief Financial
Officer (CFO) effective January 1, 2014.
Vanessa Frey (born 1980) is a Swiss national. She studied economics and law at
the University of St. Gallen and holds a Master of Science degree in
International Economics and Business from the Stockholm School of Economics,
Sweden. From 2004 to 2006 she worked in the Corporate Finance team at
Handelsbanken Capital Markets in Stockholm, Sweden, and subsequently as an asset
manager in Hong Kong. Since 2007 she has been CEO and a member of the Board of
Directors of Corisol Holding AG and a member of the Board of Directors of
Inficon Holding AG, Garaventa Lift and KWE Beteiligungen AG.
Jan Jenisch (born 1966) is a German national. He studied in Switzerland and the
USA and holds an MBA from the University of Fribourg (Switzerland). Since 1996
he has held various management positions within the Sika Group, joining the
company's Group Management in 2004. He has been CEO of the Sika Group since
2012. He has in-depth expertise in the area of composite materials and extensive
international work experience. Consequently, he is an ideal addition to the
Board of Directors, in particular with regard to the development of our
composites business.
Election of the proposed nominees will bring the total number of Board members
back to five.
The new Chief Financial Officer, Martin Klöti (born 1973), is a Swiss national.
He is a chartered accountant and federally certified fiduciary. Having begun his
career in the trustee sector, he worked from 1996 to 2002 in auditing at
Deloitte AG. He has been with Schweiter Technologies since 2003, currently as
Head of Management Services and CFO of the SSM Textile Machinery division.
Martin Klöti joined the Group Management in 2010.
