Now It's Even Easier for Brick and Mortar Businesses to Adopt Square's iPad Point of Sale System
(firmenpresse) - SAN FRANCISCO, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 11/04/13 -- Square, the company making commerce easy for everyone, today announced that Staples -- the world's largest office products company and second largest internet retailer -- will sell Square's hardware that helps brick and mortar businesses turn an iPad into a complete point of sale. Customers can or in more than 1,000 Staples stores across the U.S.
Traditionally, merchants have been forced to make major point of sale hardware investments without the ability to test out products in advance. Now, business owners will be able to process test payments with Square Stand and Square Register, Square's , at many Staples locations. Businesses that purchase a Square Stand from Staples in November will receive a free $200 Staples gift card.
