He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi.
His accomplished implementations include leading a transformative technology implementation for a large multi-state BCBS organization to modernize the claims platform in preparation for the healthcare exchange marketplace. Sameer's impressive IT Portfolio management also includes the successful stewardship of a variety of major projects including enterprise content management, claims adjudication, enterprise work management systems, EDI solutions, payer portals, and pharmacy benefit management integration. His successful leadership of these initiatives makes him an ideal addition to the HSI leadership team.
