Proofpoint, Inc. Appoints Former RSA Security and Clearswift Executive to Lead European Sales Operations

(NASDAQ: PFPT), a leading security-as-a-service provider, today announced the appointment of Richard Turner to the position of Vice President of EMEA. Turner brings nearly two decades of global leadership expertise and security industry knowledge to his new position at Proofpoint and possesses a strong track record of business transformation, revenue growth, distribution strategy, and geographic market entry and expansion. He has been recognized as an industry leader and has received significant awards, including "Highly Commended" status in the 2011 SC Magazine CEO of the year category.
