Angry Birds Tournament and Happy Hour Series July 14th - August 25th, 2011

Renaissance Arlington Capital View Hotel will host a series of ANGRY HOURS this summer for those who can't seem to get enough of the irate birds. Every Thursday beginning on July 14th through August 25th from 4pm to 7pm, guests are invited to flock to the SOCCi Urban Italian Kitchen + Bar for a live Angry Birds® tournament complete with specialty cocktails and menu.
Guests can test their Angry Birds® skills against each other on a large 7.5 by 10 foot screen at the . Highest scores will be rewarded each week with an assortment of prizes including hotel stays, dinner at SOCCi and ultimately an iPad for the top score of the series.
To complement the ANGRY HOUR tournament, the mixologists at SOCCi will present signature cocktails inspired by the wingless birds themselves including the Mighty Eagle, the Rio and the Golden Egg. Guests may also enjoy the new "Blue Ribbon Classics" lounge menu developed by acclaimed chefs Eric and Bruce Bromberg of New York's popular Blue Ribbon Restaurant Group. The menu includes white bean hummus toast, grilled cheese Panini, Manchego and Mexican honey toast, "Northern fried" chicken wings and more.
There is no fee to register for the ANGRY HOUR tournament and participants must be at least 21 to compete.
