Hornby Announces Amendment to Articles to Eliminate Small Shareholdings
(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 11/14/13 -- Hornby Bay Mineral Exploration Ltd. (TSX VENTURE: HBE) ("Hornby Bay") announces that, further to the press release dated October 23, 2013, it will effectuate a consolidation and stock split of its issued share capital, the implementation of which will result in the elimination of all shareholdings of less than 100 shares. This transaction was approved by the shareholders of the Company at its annual and special meeting of shareholders held on September 17, 2013.
The shareholdings of less than 100 shares will be eliminated through a consolidation of the common shares on a 1 for 100 basis effective at 12:01 a.m. on Sunday, November 17, 2013, the cancellation of fractional shares, and the subsequent split of the remaining shares on a 100 for 1 basis effective at 12:01 a.m. on Monday, November 18, 2013. Shareholders who hold 100 shares or more will see no change in the number of shares held by such shareholder.
