Snuko UK Ltd, 100% owned subsidiary of Snuko PLC today announced it has
enhanced its customer usability by adding another important feature to its
product.
Snuko have just released their new Lost&Stolen Device PDF Report, to
assist device owners and law enforcement agencies to recover lost or stolen
devices.
The Snuko product includes a user account, which the device owner can log
into. Once logged into the user account the owner can see the location of
their lost or stolen device on a Google map, see pictures and video of the
unauthorized user and what they have been doing on the device.
'Our system has always had the ability to provide all information required
to locate a stolen device, however now a device owner can print a detailed
report and take it the police, to their insurance company or give it to
their employer', says Carlos Benvenuti, CEO and co-founder of Snuko. He
continues, 'The new Lost&Stolen Device PDF Report, now makes it so much
easier for a user to print out, on one page, everything needed by the
police to help them recover the device, including geo-location and all IP
data. Being in electronic PDF format, users can also send the information
directly to the police via email as time is often critical in recovering
stolen items'
The new PDF report from Snuko is divided into 4 main sections. The first
section, called Device and Owner Information has all the owners information
of the device including the device type, brand and serial number. The
second section, IP Log, includes all the technical information required by
the police to track electronic fraud, these includes internal and external
IP's, MAC address&Host name.
The last three parts of the report are all graphically represented. They
consist of the Geo-location, available pictures of the unauthorized user,
and screenshots of what has been done on the device.
The Geo-location (Location) of the stolen device is shown in a Google map,
including the last three locations the stolen device has been, while the
pictures of the thief are taken via the webcam on the device without the
thief knowing.
Carlos Benvenuti continues, 'It is wonderful, that not only are we able to
ensure that a user can now recover the data and files from a lost or stolen
device which is often the biggest concern when a person loses something
like their laptop, but now they can also quickly generate a professional
report which will enable local law enforcement to pin point and recover the
device.'
