Basware signs significant agreement with nonprofit hospital system in North
America for accounts payable automation and e-invoicing solutions powered by
Alusta
Basware will deliver accounts payable automation and e-invoicing solutions to
one of the largest nonprofit hospital systems in North America. The services are
powered by Alusta, Basware's unified cloud-based platform for purchase-to-pay.
The Basware services to be delivered include invoice automation with matching
for orders and plans, data analytics, mobile technology, a supplier portal, and
e-invoicing receiving solutions. The value of the agreement is approximately EUR
1.9 million over three years. Implementation is scheduled to begin this quarter.
"Over 2 million invoices are processed annually across the clients' network of
hospitals and they will now be able to leverage Basware's invoice automation
solutions to help them improve working capital management by providing control,
automation and visibility across their payable processes. They will also focus
on on-boarding their suppliers to Basware's e-invoicing network so that the
advantages of e-invoicing and cost savings can be shared with all parties. The
customer will benefit from increased accuracy, mobility and centralized access
to all our services via the Basware Commerce Network, where all types of
organizations can easily collaborate and trade. In addition, Basware Analytics
will provide them with greater levels of visibility and actionable data across
