The U.S Patent and Trademark Office has Granted WordLogic Patent titled, "Method, System, Apparatus, and Computer-Readable Media for Directing Input Associated with a Keyboard Device"

This patent covers various redirection technologies including a capturing keyboard or input events, allowing users to go from one process, such as a messaging application, email, word processor, note taking application or similar applications, and redirecting them to a second process such as a predictive text algorithm. In various embodiments, the second process can be any sort of process, which expands the capabilities of a keyboard and provides additional features to the user. WordLogic's redirection technology, covered by this patent, can be applied in areas such as word/phrase prediction, database queries, web site searching, thesaurus lookups, calculators, OCR tools, video recordings, song selections, speech-to-text, and other pattern-matching algorithms. This patent has application to PCs, tablets, mobile phones as well as wearable computers like watches and glasses, amongst other devices and applications.
