After a period of uncertainty in the industry prior to the Federal Election, Fleet Network is pleased to move forward in a positive manner that encourages growth.
Mr Michael Hadfield has been appointed as the new General Manager of Fleet Network and brings in-depth experience in marketing and sales to the organisation.
Mr Hadfield comes to the industry with a long history of financial management and governance, being a Chartered Accountant and a Chartered Company Secretary for more than 20 years. Mr Hadfield was with the CBH Group in various roles for more than 15 years.
Mr Eric Cain will remain as a Director and shareholder, and has welcomed Mr Hadfield to Fleet Network. Mr Cain said, “Michael brings a wealth of experience to Fleet Network and the Board looks forward to working with Michael to restore the company back to its previous position and then take it to greater heights.”
The announcement by Prime Minister Kevin to change tax rules for salary sacrifice was widely met with controversy. Reports have shown that employees in the public sector who rely on company vehicles were hit hard the most.
This has created a significant impact on the industry which has also affected Fleet Network.
Which is why the announcement by The Hon Joe Hockey that the Coalition Government will not continue with the changes was highly endorsed by the company. Given this recent announcement and the addition of a new general manager to our team, we are confident that the industry will recover to previous levels.
