All eight AMA locations in Calgary are collecting unwrapped toy and non-perishable food donations to help Alberta families during the holiday season.
Through December
You can help bring a healthy festive feast to families in need by donating online and all the proceeds will help the Calgary Food Bank to distribute Christmas Hampers during their busiest time of the year. Every family deserves to dine together this holiday.

Bring your own camera and a food or monetary donation to the Calgary Food Bank and have your picture taken with Santa Clause.

Bring a food or cash donation and enjoy the sweet harmony of choirs from across the city embrace the holiday spirit.

Scotiabank Saddledome (555 Saddledome Rise SE)
Fans are asked to bring a teddy bear to the game and throw it onto the ice after the first Hitmen goal is scored against the Medicine Hat Tigers. The bears are shared with local charities.

For the 28th year, this annual campaign raises more than a million dollars for the Food Bank. Visit for events around Calgary.

YYC Tech Gives (part of the CBC-Suncor campaign) kicks off with the Spam Cup in the Food Bank warehouse December 3. The YYC Tech Gives campaign continues through to December 19 with all of the teams trying to raise as many cash/food donations as possible.

This holiday season, earn chances to win prizes from a $10,000 prize pool at Cowboys Casino. On Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Sundays in December, you can win up to five ballots a day playing slots and table games. Cowboys will also give an extra ballot to anyone coming in with a non-perishable food item.

Extra Helping™ National Holiday Food Drive campaign provides an opportunity for the community to show their support for those in need. Stores will be collecting funds and food donations on site. This year, Loblaw hopes to raise $1.8 million in funds and 1.8 million pounds of food for food banks across Canada.
