Mothercare plc and Tangibal Group plc launch trial of Interactive Floors in
Early Learning Centre retail outlets
Mothercare are exploring new ways to engage their customers in their
retail outlets. As part of this strategy Mothercare and Tangibal are
working together with a trial of interactive floors in two Early Learning
Centre retails outlets at Brent Cross and Bluewater shopping centres. The
purpose of the trial is to both entertain and increase dwell time of
customers in store. Further sites may be installed subject to certain
success criteria.
Dominic Berger, Director Tangibal Group Plc said ' We have seen in our
Cinema network that young children adore our interactive floors, we are
therefore very excited to be working with Mothercare and Early Learning
Centre on this trial. In an exciting development Tangibal Group plc has
launched a trial of their Interactive Floors in two major UK retail
outlets. Until now the technology has only been deployed in Cinemas in the
UK and Norway. If successful, the trials could lead to the deployment of a
number of new sites across the UK to a substantial network of retailers.'
