IBS AG presents its integrated, sustainable solution and services portfolio
for quality, production, traceability and compliance management.

Hoehr-Grenzhausen, 13th September 2010: The first ever Control Shanghai
took place from 18th to 20th August 2010. Control Shanghai is a spin-off
event of the leading international quality management trade fair Control,
which has been held in Germany since 1987.

Visitors to the trade fair showed avid interest in the solutions and
services presented. IBS AG has been supporting quality, production,
traceability and compliance management in industrial companies for over 28
years, enabling the integrated optimisation of all phases of the product
life cycle - from the product development (e.g. APQP, FMEA) to product
creation (e.g. SPC) and product trial and acceptance (Concern and Complaint
Management). The realisation of a consolidated MDA (machine data
acquisition) / ODA (operational data acquisition) and CAQ database,
integrated in an ERP and PPS system, has led to the development of a
holistic, fully integrated and universal system. Support of the Lean
Management methodology helps identify wastage areas and avoid them with the
initiation of specific actions.

With over 30 installations in Southeast Asia, including Tianjin
(China)-based TIANJIN NEW WEI SAN INDUSTRIAL CO., LTD, IBS was delighted to
greet NWS' Quality Assurance Director, Ray T. Lin, at its trade fair stand.
NWS specialises in the construction and manufacture of high-quality cast
parts for the global. In addition to component production in its foundry,
NWS also offers further processing of the parts, including assembly into
ready-to-install components. Remaining competitive prescribes the pursuit

of continuous improvement and the achievement of efficient, transparent
processes, which has led the company to opt for the implementation of a MES
software solution. IBS AG's Manufacturing Execution System is a
process-oriented, software-supported production management system that has
replaced a number of isolated solutions and local systems within the scope
of the project.

The exhibition programme was rounded off with a joint presentation given by
Kautex China and IBS Shanghai in the annexed exhibitors' forum. Within the
scope of their presentation, entitled 'Closed Loop Quality Management in
the Automotive Industry', Yuanhon Wu (IT Manager Kautex China) and Philips
Zhang (Project Director IBS Asia Pacific) both explained the application of
the software solution and the resulting benefits for the company. Kautex
Textron is the world's largest manufacturer of fuel tanks and employs
approximately 5,600 personnel at its 44 sites. The company has been a
customer of IBS AG since 2001, with cross-location application of IBS'
quality and production management solutions.

'The Chinese market is becoming increasingly important to us and we are
detecting an increase in demand for our software solutions there. We see
great opportunities in the demand for our automotive software solution, in
particular, as China has the largest automotive market in the world. 1.22M
new cars have been sold this August alone, which is analmost 56 per cent
increase from previous August. According to the latest studies, the Chinese
automotive market is set to expand from a volume of 76.2M vehicles to over
200M over the next ten years. Our participation in the Control Shanghai was
therefore a good opportunity to foster new contacts, not only in this
sector, but also in others', states Volker Schwickert, Executive Vice
President and Director of Sales and Marketing at IBS AG, commenting on the
trade fair.
