IBS Group Subsidiary Delivers Navigation Information Platform
Ramsey, the Isle of Man, December 05, 2013 - IBS Group, a leading software
development and IT services provider in Central and Eastern Europe
announces that Luxoft Holding, Inc. (NYSE: LXFT), a subsidiary of IBS
Group, has completed full cycle commercial software development work on the
life-saving navigation system ERA-GLONASS.
ERA-GLONASS, run by the GLONASS Non-Commercial Partnership (NP GLONASS), is
a national emergency response system that helps save lives in traffic
accidents and other incidents on Russia's roads - slashing the time it
takes the emergency services to arrive on the scene by 30%.
It harnesses the power of modern technologies such as telecommunications,
information processing, and satellite navigation solutions (GLONASS and
GPS) in order to cut the time it takes the emergency services to respond to
an incident by helping them identify the location and other details of each
incident with greater speed and precision.
Under its contract with NP GLONASS, Luxoft worked to a tight schedule to
develop the software for the navigation and information platform, which is
a complex nation-wide system designed to interact with numerous external
systems that meets stringent reliability and availability requirements.
Luxoft's project team assessed the platform's current state, established
the algorithm for its development, carried out process flow analysis work,
and set in place a two-stage delivery schedule.
Phase one was launched in April 2013. Luxoft developed a test prototype of
the navigation and information platform for preliminary system tests. Phase
two started in June 2013, after system tests were completed successfully,
and included further development of the commercial platform that will be
rolled out across 83 Russian regions.
To schedule, on 31 October 2013, Luxoft successfully delivered the
nationwide navigation and information platform for ERA-GLONASS under the
contract with NP GLONASS. Luxoft is currently supporting NP GLONASS in
integrated system tests that were jointly scheduled by Luxoft and the
customer.

Experts have said that implementing ERA-GLONASS will dramatically reduce
the number of traffic-related deaths and severe injuries, especially in
remote locations, helping save approximately 4,000 lives each year.
