At its meeting on December 13, 2013, Schaeffler AG's Supervisory Board appointed Norbert Indlekofer (55) and Prof. Dr. Peter Pleus (59), currently business division heads of Schaeffler Automotive, to the Executive Board of Schaeffler AG. They will jointly lead the Automotive division in the future. Norbert Indlekofer will be responsible for the Transmission Systems and Automotive Aftermarket business division. He also takes over responsibility for Research & Development within Schaeffler Automotive. Prof. Dr. Peter Pleus will lead the Engine Systems and Chassis Systems business areas. He also heads the Global Key Account Management.
Wolfgang Dangel (50), currently head of the Automotive division, will leave the company at his own request at the end of the year to pursue new professional challenges.
