Hoehr-Grenzhausen, 9th November 2010: With its product lines SINIC and
CALVIN, IBS SINIC GmbH is one of the most successful providers of standard
software solutions and services in the field of quality management and
calibration. The Company, located in Neu-Anspach, near Frankfurt am Main,
was founded over 20 years ago and has been a subsidiary of IBS AG since
2000.
With a third quarter 2010 turnover of 305K EUR and earnings before interest
and taxes (EBIT) to the sum of 19K EUR, IBS SINIC GmbH was able to
celebrate a further successful quarter during the current financial year.
During the first nine months of 2010, IBS SINIC achieved a turnover of 906K
EUR (previous year: 650K EUR), which corresponds to a 40 per cent increase
in turnover. EBIT also increased to 69K EUR (previous year: -104K EUR)
during the same period. The new projects secured and executed involved all
product lines of the IBS Group. CAQ=QSYS, CompliantPro, SINIC and CALVIN,
whereby the project executed mainly focused on the subsidiary's own
products SINIC::CAQ and CALVIN Calibration and Gage Management. The
following projects should be highlighted in particular.
CERA SYSTEM Verschleißschutz GmbH, Hermsdorf
The company manufactures small-scale and mass production precision ceramic
parts, as well as system solutions using ceramic components and is a
leading supplier to many renowned European and international companies.
CERA SYSTEM is a certified system supplier with a wealth of experience
collected in the millionfold manufacture of ceramic valve plates, coupled
with its expertise in the field of ceramic valve systems. The company is
certified inn accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 and attaches the utmost
importance to the quality of its products. For comprehensive support of its
quality management, the company has opted for the implementation of
CAQ=QSYS. The main focus here lies in Statistical Process Control, Incoming
Goods Control and Supplier Management, but also in the interface of
Navision as a comprehensive ERP system. The scope of the project involved
equipping a large number of different types of inspection stations with the
modular system solution on a cross-departmental basis.
Voith Turbo GmbH&Co. KG, Crailsheim and Garching
The company, a leading specialist for power transmission, develops
state-of-the-art drive and braking systems for industrial, rail, road and
marine applications. As a long-standing IBS SINIC customer, Voith Turbo has
now opted to implement the CALVIN solution for gage monitoring in
respective departments at its Crailsheim and Garching sites. The latest
version of the software solution has been installed at both plants. Within
the scope of a project at the Crailsheim site, mechanical and electrical
gage detection using RFID tags is now also being fostered to better
ascertain which gages should be used in each of the different production
areas. CALVINmanages the administration in this sense; all operating
locations and times are recorded and evaluated in CALVIN using RF
technology.
Wild Hi-Precision GmbH, Völkermarkt and Wien (Austria)
The long-standing sales partner and IBS SINIC customer boasts Austria's
largest and most state-of-the-art testing laboratory. The latest version of
CALVIN was installed at the company's Völkermarkt (head office) and Vienna
sites during the third quarter of 2010. TheÖKD (Austrian calibrating
authority) accredited company provides calibration services to the Austrian
Federal Ministry of Economy Family and Youth and specialises in, inter
alia, length, angle and torque measurements, as well as 3D co-ordinate and
mobile measurement technologies, laser measuring devices and computer
tomography. Wild Hi-Precision uses CALVIN for gage and measurement device
management. The inspections recorded in CALVIN are later used as a basis
for customer invoicing.
