More than 3300 banks were also evaluated on the basis of statistical and non-statistical studies that covered Cluster and DEA (Data Envelopment Analysis) studies. The variables considered for study included the Banks Revenue, Profit/Loss, Market Capitalization, Return on Equity for the last three years, Tier 1 Capital Ratio, Liabilities, International Ratings, Capital Adequacy Ratio, Dividend Paid, Non-Performing Assets to total assets, Return on Assets, Price-Earnings Ratio and asset diversification. After scrutinising the statistical output with the help of all possible sources within and outside the company personnel and records; and evaluating the different variables according to the country and other conditions, the winning names were announced.
The entire process took up a quarter of the year and finally the well deserving companies were given the ultimate global recognition. The award not only adds to the brand value of the company, but also recognises the indefinite amount of time and efforts that the employees have put in to provide exceptional service and delivery to their customers.
